The inn is also a short ride to city center and the financial district. Cable cars are the classic public transportation of San Francisco. These charming streetcars are a quaint part of San Fran history and offer a wonderful way to see the city without walking uphill. They operate 6:09 a.m.–12:20 a.m. daily.
